This is one of my favorite Frank Cho pieces. Its a variant cover to a John Carter from Mars series that IDW published. The girl is Dejah Thoris. The martian is fucked.

This has been running around the internet like crazy for the last week or so, but here it is again. Chris Ware does the poster for THE SAVAGES, an upcoming movie starring Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

monday night art: david peterson

YES, I'm still ridiculously behind on my comics. Work has been a pain with long hours, leaving my free time with me in a vegetative state in front of the TV. But I'm digging deep, getting some good comics read and having fun when I do. Soon I'll do some yapping, I'm sure.

Yeah, pretty fucking cool. David Peterson's art is glorious. His book Mouse Guard is even better. Buy it.

I am dangerously behind on new comic books this week. If I get a post up this week I'll be impressed. In the mean time, here is a page of Travis Charest's art from an Ultimates recap book coming up soon. He only does 4 pages apparently, but HOLY SHIT, I think I might just get it anyway.
